I am a music teacher who teaches out of a home studio in Utah County. I have been playing the piano for 17 years, playing the harp for 12 years, and have been teaching for 6 years. I minored in music while attending college and have experience with playing in orchestras, symphonies, wind ensembles, etc. I am both classically and modernly trained. I teach beginner - intermediate students of any age. Each week I offer a 1/2 hour lesson. I charge a flat rate of $75 per month for piano, and $100 per month for harp. Some months that may be an extra lesson for no charge, if there is an extra week and if no major holidays fall in that month. My goal as a teacher is to help each student develop a love for music. I teach music theory, skills in technique, and performance skills at each lesson. I hold two recitals a year to let each student show others the skills they are developing.
